PhotoFit ("the App") is developed by Mag Studios. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Information We Collect

The App processes your photos entirely on your device. Your images, the compressed outputs, your recent-compressions history, and your settings are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your photos or personal information on our servers.

Photo Access

The App requests access to your device's photo library so you can pick photos to compress. Selected photos are read, processed, and saved back to your device locally. We never copy your photos to any external server. EXIF metadata (date taken, camera info, GPS, orientation) is preserved by default to keep your photo history intact.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data to show personalized ads, including:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• IP address
• Usage data related to ad serving

You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

The App offers a one-time in-app purchase ($1.99 USD) to remove ads permanently. Purchase records are handled by Google Play and are not stored by us.

Analytics

We do not use any analytics services. No usage data is transmitted from the App.

Data Storage

All app data (recent compressions, settings, IAP entitlement) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and the device's media library. This data is not accessible to us or any third party. Uninstalling the App will delete all locally stored data, but your saved compressed photos remain in your device gallery unless you delete them yourself.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Permissions

• Photos / Media Library: Required to read photos for compression and save the compressed output back to your gallery.
• Internet: Required for displaying advertisements and verifying the in-app purchase.
• Vibration: Used to provide light haptic feedback on successful compression.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Google AdMob for advertising and Google Play Billing for the optional one-time purchase. We do not share your photos or personal data with any third-party service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
